What does life in lockdown look like for a dog trainer?

It involves convincing people that online training for dogs and their humans is very effective. We know that in person is what everyone would REALLY LOVE and many people insist that our trainers would need to be physically present with them and their dog, to see all their faults and wins!

The emphasis with all our training at Barkers in Balance is to reinforce what we want the dog TO DO so seeing the unwanted behaviour, honestly is irrelevant. My challenge is to reassure you performing online sessions, that are live, will be as effective as we are there in the moment demonstrating , answering questions and giving live feedback.

Our online work is not pre-recorded. The HUGE bonus is that the session is recorded and you can review at home to your heart’s content. What an asset to have into the long term!

For those who like to refer to notes there is a detailed email sent at the end of each session, recapping the contents of the lesson, often with videos and specific fact sheets.
